The project consisted of a new three story open concept Student Center with a basement for the electrical, mechanical infrastructure.  A place for the students to congregate, study, and entertain themselves using new state of the art audio visual effects for gaming and entertainment.  The construction took in excess of 2 years including the GC coordination with the Owner.

The electrical scope included a new 15kV electrical substation, primary switch and transformer with a 3000A 480V secondary SWBD lineup, the project also included a 500kW Emergency Generator and connection to a 36kW Photovoltaic Inverter.  The basement and roof contained the majority of the large Electrical and Mechanical equipment.  The student functional floors included high end LED lighting controlled by a programmable lighting control system, ample power for convenience outlets and rough-in for the AV Equipment.  The exterior of the building had several locations requiring a substantial exterior lighting scheme, using pole lights and ground accent lighting.  The building also included a second and third floor exterior terrace complete with LED down lighting, up lighting, bench and accent lighting.
