Tim Miller
President
Tim has over 30 years’ experience in finance and accounting, with the bulk of that time being spent in the construction industry. He has an accounting degree from the University of Baltimore, and he is a Certified Public Accountant. Prior to Freestate being taken private, Tim was the CFO of the division of the Fortune 500 Company under which Freestate operated, and he continued to fill the CFO role for several more years. Tim became a minority owner in 2009 and he now oversees the day to day operations of the company. Tim is a member of the Maryland Association of CPA’s and the Construction Financial Management Association. In addition, Tim is on the board of ACE (Alliance for Construction Excellence), and serves on the Board of Governors for the Washington Building Congress. He is also on the Board of Directors of the Archway Captive Insurance Company as well as the Maryland chapter of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Tim and his wife live on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, and are the parents of twin sons.
