Freestate Electric’s Generator Group is a growing commercial and industrial full-service generator division. We are currently seeking experienced Power Generation Technicians

Our focus is the maintenance and repair of industrial diesel and natural gas generators ranging in size from 20kW to 2000kW from the industry’s top manufacturers like Caterpillar, Cummins, Generac, Kohler and MTU.

 Job Responsibilities:

• Maintenance Inspections and oil changes
• Load Bank testing
• Diagnostics and repairs
• Adjustments and calibration
• Re-wire, adjust and install control panels.

Job Requirements:

• 3+ years of power generation experience
• In depth understanding of diesel engines and/or generator technology
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues on diesel and natural gas gensets.
• Exceptional communication skills
• EGSA Technician or other certifications desired, but not required.
• Member of the IBEW Local 26 or willing to join the Local
