The primary responsibilities of Account Managers are to foster client relationships, work with sales and marketing teams to develop new clientele and communicate client agendas to other staff members. The Account Manager is also responsible for the overall administration, organization and implementation of Fire Alarm Service and small Fire Alarm projects, for a wide variety of commercial properties. The Account Manager will be required to establish and maintain a professional relationship with clients. To include below:

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Manages multiple accounts, small projects, contracts, subcontractors and service technicians.
  2. Manages and oversees service calls, estimating, procurement, job set up, and financial reporting.

The Qualified Applicant:

  1. NICET Certification preferred.
  2. Minimum of 5 years in the electrical construction industry or fire alarm industry experience.
  3. Experience working with customer accounts; processing paperwork.
  4. Preferable technical background with effective communication skills; verbal and written.
  5. Ability to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize organize and accomplish work.
  6. Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the electrical and fire alarm industry.
  7. Basic estimating skills with knowledge in small work time and material requirements.
  8. Experience preferred working with contract documents such as proposals, contract drawings, subcontracts, contract addendums, specifications and change orders.

Abilities:

  1. Effective communicate information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
  2. Apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.

Work Environment:

Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work, primarily with regards to events to the entertainment of potential and existing customers.
